Major 16s Semi-Final Kilnamanagh 3-0 Leixlip
Tough day away to Kilnamanagh, very good 1st half, very competitive, we missed a few chances to get ahead. 2nd half Kilnamanagh put the foot on the gas and we just couldn't keep up with them 2nd half, 1-0 up until the last 15 then they got a 2nd and at that point, we lost the belief and it just fizzled out, they grabbed a 3rd at the end to hammer the result home. Good effort from the lads, we can't fault them, against a good side today and we just couldn't match them in the 2nd half. 9 wins in a row up until today, just didn't happen for us

U13 Boys Sun Div 7 Granada 2-2 Leixlip
This morning with the sun shining, we were a little slow to get going but had a little luck as Granada didn't take a couple of early chances. As we woke up, we got going and Setempi got the opener after 24 minutes. He went on to score a second after 45 minutes. Our luck changed as we gave away an easy goal 3 minutes later. From then on Granada seemed to get all the decisions and were awarded a soft free which led to a softer penalty which they equalised from. We went straight up and should have had a penalty but it just wasn't to be. Another great display from the lads, this is definitely a game we would have lost before Christmas. Real progress being made by the lads.

Leixlip 15A 2-2 Ballymun.
A gutsy display from the lads today against a tough Ballymun side who were arguably better at the dark arts than us. We took a well deserved lead into half time. Ballymun hit back with 2 high quality goals in the second half. They did their best to slow the game at every chance from then on. Our lads kept their heads and piled the pressure on. After a few set pieces we got our just reward when Cameron McCormish nipped in at the back post to equalise with a minute to go.

U13M Dalkey United 0-4 Leixlip Utd
Another excellent performance saw us beat a well organised Dalkey team comfortably. While the goals were brilliantly finished by Dan Lyons, Ben Osmic, Aidas Katkauskas & Luke Dennehy it was a great team performance that kept a clear sheet against a team which had scored 13 goals in their previous 3 games.

U13 A/A1 Gerry Murphy Cup. Leixlip  6-1 Swords Celtic
An incredibly strong performance from our Leixlip U13A1 boys today, resulting in a 6-1 victory against Swords Celtic. This victory sends the lads into the semi-final of the Gerry Murphy Cup. Leixlip went into the lead half way through the first half with a well taken finish from Eoghan Ruane.Swords equalized very shortly after to make it 1-1. Rather than dropping their heads, Leixlip hit back within 5 minutes with the best move of the game, Eoghan Ruane again capitalizing on a measured through ball from Conor Tighe. In the second half,Leixlip maintained their dominance. An early brace from Conor Tighe put the game out of reach from the visitors. Evan Barton completed the scoring with 2 excellent goals.

 U13 Girls D1 Cup1/4 Final Leixlip 1 - 0 Knocklyon
Much improved team performance compared to last week by the girls this morning against a competitive Knocklyon side. Chances were few and far between but we definitely dominated possession and played better football right throughout the game Our only goal came in the second half via Cara Murphy who produced the real bit of quality when she blasted home from outside the box to send the girls into the semi finals and helped us avoid the dreaded penalties.
